Soju, You don't need a carb kit to re-jet. I bought a larger main jet from a cycle shop for about 2 bucks. It's real easy to install (just take off the float bowl). I don't recommend changing jets unless you put an aftermarket pipe on. I will compromise gas mileage big time. I do recommend removing the white spacer as it is puposefully installed to curb emissions. And no, I don't think Savage is a good name for this big single. Don't get me wrong, this bike is my main transportation but it is no savage. What it is though, is a unique looking machine that is relatively inexpensive, nimble through traffic, and easy to maintain. What it is not: A high performance sport bike and it will never be. You will either grow out of it or fall in love with it and live with it's power shortcomings. Ride safe.
